Strawberry Jelly

This strawberry jelly is all natural fun for your toddler! This jelly has more of a tangy flavor, it’s made with zero added sugar or artificial sweeteners, takes about 15 minutes to make, and is sooo convenient to have in the fridge at all times for your little ones! If you want to enjoy this tasty treat a bit more, mix in some maple syrup or honey to give it that sweet and delicious flavor. Spread this jelly on toast for the perfect peanut butter and jelly sandwich, mix into yogurt or cottage cheese, or serve alongside fruit, cheese or crackers.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups strawberries
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

Instructions: 

  1. Wash and slice your strawberries and add to a small pot
  2. Pour in the water and heat on medium until the strawberries start to break down
  3. Add the chia seeds and keep mixing every few minutes to prevent sticking
  4. Once the jam thickens remove it from the heat and let it cool 
  5. Store it in an airtight glass container in the fridge and enjoy two hours later 

Notes:

  • Stores well in the fridge for up to 2 weeks!
