Tahini Maple Granola

This tahini maple granola is one you’ll be running back to make over and over again! It’s nutty, packed with flavor and contains a powerhouse of nutrients using only a few simple and wholesome ingredients. Whether you sprinkle it over yogurt, enjoy it with your favorite plant-based milk, or snack on it straight from the jar, it’s a delicious treat that will leave you feeling nourished and energized. Spend 20 minutes on a Sunday making a batch of this granola, and you’ll have breakfast prepped for the whole week!

 Ingredients:

  • 3 cups rolled oats 

  • 1/4 cup hemp seeds

  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds

  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds

  • 1/4 cup walnuts or nut of choice 

  • 3/4 cup maple syrup 

  • 1/4 cup olive oil 

  • 3 tbsp tahini or almond butter
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

     

Instructions: 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350
  2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper
  3. Place your oats, seeds, nuts, olive oil, maple syrup, tahini, and sea salt and on the baking tray and mix well to combine 
  4.  Flatten the granola mixture onto the parchment sheet and sprinkle with cinnamon (optional)
  5. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes 
  6. Remove from the oven, mix the granola again so that each part gets toasted evenly
  7. Place the tray back in the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes
  8. Remove from the oven when golden and allow the granola to cool 
  9. Once cooled, Store in airtight glass containers for up to 2 weeks! 

Notes:

  • Make it your own by adding in other mix ins such as different nuts or seeds

  • Add in dried fruit such as cranberries, raisins or dried blueberries 

  • Sub any nut butter of choice for tahini 

  • Sprinkle on top of yogurt, oatmeal, smoothies or ice cream and enjoy!!!
