Peanut Butter Oat Balls

These peanut butter oat balls are just. so. yum!!! This recipe is for your toddler and for you! You’ll be running to the fridge in the middle of your day for this energy ball of a snack, after dinner for a healthy dessert, or on the way out your door when you need to take something on the go. These tiny treats pack protein and fiber into every little bite and your toddler will eat this so fast, one will definitely not be enough!

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup organic peanut butter
  • 1 ½ cups rolled oats
  • ¼ cup raw honey, maple syrup or dates
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp chia Seeds
  • 1 tbsp hemp Seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions:

  1. If using dates, soak them for 20 minutes before making this recipe
  2. In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients with a spoon
  3. Put the bowl in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes so the mixture hardens a bit
  4. Remove from the fridge and roll into balls
  5. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight glass container for a week

Notes:

  • This recipe is for babies 14+ months
  • Do NOT use honey if making this for a baby younger than 12 months
  • You can swap the peanut butter for any nut butter
