Egg & Avo Toast

This is a super quick meal to make for your kids when spending the day at home. It's nutritious and wholesome as it offers protein, carbs, and healthy fats. You can add in any veggies to your egg mixture as well as any cheese to make it extra delicious.

 Ingredients

  • 1 slice of bread choice
  • 2 tsp olive oil or avocado oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped spinach
  • 1/4 Avocado
  • 1 tsp hemp seeds (optional)

 Directions

  1. Toast the slice of bread.
  2. Whisk together the eggs and spinach in a bowl to combine.
  3. Once combined, head a skillet on medium heat with 2 tsp of oil.
  4. Place the eggs in the skillet and start scrambling.
  5. While the eggs are cooking, spread the avocado on the toast.
  6. After about 4 minutes when the eggs are cooked through, top the toast with your eggs and sprinkle with hemp seeds.
  7. For babies around 12 months old, cut the breads into fourths or trips to make it easier for babies to hold and eat.
  8. Eat right away!
