Postpartum Overnight Oats

Say goodbye to walking out the door without eating breakfast, and make my postpartum overnight oats. This feel good breakfast is the perfect way to start your day! It only takes 5 minutes to prepare and will save you mornings of stress and hunger as it’s conveniently stored in the fridge overnight, ready to fuel your day. This quick, delicious and nourishing breakfast will help boost your milk supply and keep you full and satisfied. I always felt happier and more relaxed after eating this and I hope it has the same effect on you!

 Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup organic rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 4 tsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp raw maple syrup
  • 1 ⅓ cup vanilla almond milk/milk of choice

Toppings:

  • Sliced strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Raspberries
  • 2 tbsp nut butter
  • Coconut shreds
  • Chopped walnuts/nut of choice

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mash the banana with a fork
  2. Pour all the ingredients into the bowl and add the milk last
  3. Mix well with a fork and pour into tupperwares or a bowl with a lid
  4. Place any desired toppings on top of the oats
  5. Close the lid and store in the fridge overnight

Notes:

  • It’s best to make this in the evening so it’s ready for you in the morning
  • Store in the fridge for 4 days
